This Privacy Policy explains how Joey Marino, a licensed Ohio real estate agent with Whipple Auction & Realty (“I,” “me,” or “my”), collects, uses, and protects information you provide when visiting JoeyMarino.com or using the interactive tools on this site.

1. Information I Collect

Information you provide directly

When you use the Property Value Score (seller tool) or the Market Tracker (buyer market tool), or submit any contact form on this site, you may provide:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional, only if you choose to be contacted by call or text)
  • Property address: the address of a home you own or are considering selling (Seller tool)
  • Home characteristics: information about your home’s features that help produce a property score (Seller tool)
  • Geographic preferences: the Stark County communities you select to follow (Market Tracker)
  • Budget figures: the monthly payment you are budgeting and your estimated down-payment percentage (Market Tracker)
  • Contact preferences: best time to reach you and whether you prefer text or phone

The budget figures you enter in the Market Tracker are estimates you provide yourself. They are not an application, a credit check, or a loan request. I do not ask for or store financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or credit information. They are used to show you market statistics for the communities you pick and, if you sign up, to send you periodic market updates for those communities.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, standard web analytics tools collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited, time on site, and referral source
  • Interactions with pages (clicks, scroll depth)

Cookies

This site uses cookies for:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4) uses cookies to measure site traffic and behavior. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

2. How I Use Your Information

  • Deliver tool results: calculate and return a Property Value Score, or show recorded sales and market statistics for the communities you select
  • Market-watch updates: if you save a market in the Market Tracker, your email is used to send periodic updates about recorded sales and market activity in the communities you selected. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • Send automated reports: if you sign up for monthly Property Value Score updates or periodic market updates, your email is used to send those reports
  • Follow up personally: if you request a consultation or market updates with direct contact, I (Joey) will reach out by email, phone, or text based on your stated preference
  • Improve the site: aggregate, anonymized analytics data helps me understand which content is most useful

I do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling beyond what is described above.

3. How Your Information Is Stored

Data submitted through the tools and contact forms on this site may be stored in one or more of the following places:

  • Secure private server: sign-up data for automated reports (name, email, phone, property address or area preferences) is stored on a private, password-protected server dedicated to this purpose
  • WordPress database: general contact form submissions are stored in the site’s database
  • Email: full consultation requests and market-update sign-ups are also delivered directly to me by email

Data is not stored on public-facing servers without access controls. I take reasonable technical precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access.

4. Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services that may receive or process your data:

  • Google Analytics (GA4): website traffic and behavior analytics
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook): ad performance measurement and retargeting
  • Email delivery provider: a third-party service is used to send automated market reports and market updates (specific provider subject to change; I will update this policy if it changes materially)

I do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party. I do not share your data with other real estate agents, advertisers, or data brokers.

5. Email Communications

If you sign up for market reports or market updates, you will receive periodic emails from me. In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act:

  • Every marketing email includes a clear unsubscribe link
  • Unsubscribe requests are honored promptly (within 10 business days)
  • I will not send you unsolicited commercial email if you have not opted in

Transactional emails (e.g., a direct reply to a form you submitted) are not marketing emails and may be sent without a separate opt-in.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

This site is not directed at children under 13 years of age. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through this site, please contact me at [email protected] and I will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Request deletion of your personal data at any time, including a saved Market Tracker budget and the communities you selected
  • Request a copy of the information I have on file for you
  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Opt out of phone/text contact by replying STOP to any text or emailing me directly
